This policy explains what information the GFE Diamonds app collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how you can have it deleted.

GFE Diamonds is a trade catalogue for diamond and jewellery businesses. It is operated by Gems For Everyone, New Itwari Road, Sarafa Bazar, Nagpur 440002, Maharashtra, India, and published on the app stores by Bundiwal Tech on behalf of Gems For Everyone.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in or register

• Your mobile number, to send you a one-time sign-in code and to identify your account.
• Your name and business name, which you enter when you request access, so we can review and approve your trade account.
• Your approximate location (city and country), worked out from your internet (IP) address when you first request access, to help us verify trade applications. We do not use GPS or your device’s location services.

While you use the app

• Session identifiers (secure cookies) that keep you signed in.
• If you turn on Notifications in Settings: a push notification token for your device, so we can send stock and offer alerts. No token is created until you turn Notifications on.
• If you use “Share with customer”: the business name, WhatsApp number and retail markup you enter are included in the link you send, and are visible to the person you send it to.

Stored only on your device

• A copy of the stock list and prices, so the app opens quickly and works offline.
• Your calculator preferences, such as discount and exchange rate.
• Your App lock setting. Face ID, Touch ID and fingerprint checks are performed by your device’s operating system. We never receive your biometric data.

What we do not collect We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or payment details. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

2. How we use it

• To send your sign-in code and keep your account secure.
• To review and approve trade accounts, and to show approved accounts trade pricing.
• To respond to enquiries you send us.
• To send stock and offer notifications, only if you have turned them on.
• To prevent abuse, such as repeated sign-in attempts, and to keep the service running.

We do not sell your information.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that run parts of the app for us, and only what each one needs:

When you choose to verify a certificate, the report number opens on the laboratory’s own website (GIA or IGI). When you tap a WhatsApp, phone or Maps link, that app or service opens under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

• Sign-in requests that are never completed are deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Accounts not used for 120 days are marked expired and need to be approved again before they can see trade pricing.
• Your account information is kept until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
• Information stored on your device is removed when you clear the app’s cache from Settings or delete the app.

5. Deleting your account and your choices

• Delete your account in the app: Settings > Account Management > Delete account. This permanently removes your name, business name, mobile number and location from our records, and ends access on every device immediately.
• Notifications: turn them off at any time in the app’s Settings, or in your device’s settings.
• Correcting your details: you can change your business name once from Settings. For anything else, contact us.

You may also ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, under applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, by contacting us below.

6. Security

All app traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Sign-in codes are stored only in hashed form and expire after 5 minutes. Trade pricing is shown only to approved accounts. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children

GFE Diamonds is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
